Winter is in full swing and so is our festive cheer! And what’s better on a cosy winters eve than a seasonal tipple? Here we’ve put together our top places to go in Bristol for that perfect winter warmer.
The Pipe and Slippers
If the name doesn’t make you feel like taking a seat and settling in for the evening, then their selection of seasonal drinks will. Now offering hot and cold seasonal cider, along with a selection of ales, these are both perfectly accompanied by their warm wood fire. Take a seat, grab a drink and a bite to eat and wait for Christmas to arrive.
The Apple
Mulled cider is our new seasonal go to and for one reason - it's delicious! If you're yet to try it, you're in for a treat. And where best to try it first than The Apple, Bristol’s own cider bar, where they have and know all things apple! Even better? It's on a boat!
Racks
One of Clifton’s best terraces has been transformed for the Winter season. The Après-ski lodge is back at Racks – a fully covered pop-up venue kitted out like an alpine ski lodge and available for hire for Christmas parties. Of course, the venue instead is similarly snuggly with loads of little nooks and alcoves, if you’re just popping in for a couple.
The Albion
Nestled away at the edge of Clifton Village, this 17th Century Coach House is perfect for a cosy winter drink. With an open fire and some seriously comfy leather sofas, The Albion is perfect for a mulled wine after a day shopping in Clifton’s independent boutiques.
