Congratulations everyone! We’ve completed another lap around the sun, and we’re now almost halfway through the decade. We may not have castles or cannons, but in Bristol we know how to throw a good party. Bring in 2024 in style with one of these excellent New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Rack’s Bar and Kitchen, Clifton
Rack’s always go big on New Year’s, and this year they’re going further than ever before. The theme is Las Vegas, so be prepared for all the glitz, glam, and feathers you might expect. There will be casino tables, live music, a huge buffet, and three open bars. That’s right- free drinks all night long. The dress code is strictly black tie, so you can live out all of your 007 dreams.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
The Square, Clifton
Perhaps you’re less James Bond and more Mamma Mia. If so, The Square’s party is more your speed. Their disco theme is sure to keep you dancing all night long, fuelled by their banquet and again- free bar. The Square is also perfectly located right next door to the Berkeley Square Hotel, so book yourself a night there and take full advantage of the unlimited drinks. If you’re looking for outfit inspiration, check out their mood boards on Pinterest and their blog. You can book your tickets here, and be quick! The early-bird sale is already sold out.
Old Vic House Party- Bristol Old Vic
At the Old Vic, you can enjoy the vibe of a house party without any of the faff (or mess). Drinks are free-flowing from cocktail bars and dedicated prosecco stations, and all are included in the price of a ticket. If you get peckish there’s street food stands and a secret snack store (say that five times fast). There will be live jazz music, a silent disco, and a main disco complete with mirror balls and confetti cannons. Book here.
New Year’s Eve Ball, The Grand Pier, Somerset
If you’re willing to make the journey to the coast, the masquerade ball at the Grand Pier in Weston Super Mare will definitely make a memorable end to the year. Enjoy a four-course banquet and entertainment from a live band, as well as a professional photographer to capture the memories forever. Tickets start at £20, and you can reserve a VIP table for up to ten people. Book here.
Steam New Year’s Disco
On a budget? Steam has you covered. Tickets to their New Year’s Eve party will set you back only £10, which includes a drink on arrival. Once you’ve finished that, the rest of their drinks start at £3.50, making this the most cost-of-living-friendly party in Bristol. Glam up and expect cheesy disco hits all night long! Book here.
