Stand Up for The Weekend with Stuart Goldsmith and Guests

Stand Up for The Weekend is our big Saturday night comedy show featuring top circuit headliners and guest acts plus incredibly funny and engaging comperes who host the show.
Stuart Goldsmith is an internationally award-winning comedian, writer, podcaster, and host. With a reputation for smart, accessible stand-up, Stuart’s enthusiasm and natural charm conceal a quick wit and fearlessness honed by his early career as a street performer. Surprisingly candid about his exploits, sexploits, and textploits, Stuart likes to get his teeth into love, romance, and the downside of getting what you want.
With an excellent line-up and fantastic host, Stand Up for the Weekend is sure to be a side-splitting evening. To learn more, click here for their website.

Concealed/Reveal: Disabled, D/deaf and neurodivergent artists driving creativity at Bristol Museum and Art Gallery

his exhibition at the Bristol Museum & Art Gallery exposes the hidden stories and challenges preconceptions of disabled, D/deaf, and neurodiverse experiences in museums and galleries.
Featuring artists such as Henri Matisse and local stories like performer Patrick Cotter O’Brien, it highlights how disability can be a creative force and questions why the experiences of disabled people are socially stigmatised.
Concealed/Reveal has been curated by Curatorial Fellow, Jo Barlow, and Curatorial Fellowship Assistant Freya Purcell. It has been produced with Curating for Change, who, working with over 20 museums, have provided opportunities for D/deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent people seeking a curatorial career.
Not only is this exhibition intriguing and necessary, but it is free to enter, and no booking is required. For more information, click here.

Tommy Tiernan at Bristol Beacon – 25th April.

Join Tommy Tiernan in his brand new show ‘tommedian’, a fun-fuelled trip through the comic imagination of one of the best comedians in the world. This is a wild, uninhibited, and fiercely physical display of stand-up. A madcap parade of characters, memories, and ridiculous flights of fancy. Theatrical, poetical, and slightly unhinged…. Don’t you dare miss it! Boasting record-breaking ticket sales across the world, the legendary comedian is also known as the star of Channel 4’s hit show Derry Girls, Live at the Apollo and the host of his own highly critically praised improvised chat show on Ireland’s RTE 1.
Another belter of a show hosted by Bristol Beacon, you’d be a fool to miss out! Click here to book your seats.
