Foodie Festival 

Calling all food lovers! One of the biggest gourmet food festivals, known as "Gastro-Glasto", is due to return to Bristol this May and is bringing some of the biggest names in UK food and music along with it. Join them with Masterchef finalists, Great British Menu finalists, Chart-topping disco divas and other big music names, for three days of foodie fun!

For those of you who are visiting or new to the Bristol area a collection of local chefs, artisan producers and other vendors will exhibit their goods, giving a taste of South West produce while fuelling festival-goers as they party it up at the ’90s themed ‘Big Party Nights'.

Upfest

After last year’s virtual festival, this year Upfest is returning to us live and in-person to celebrate all things Street Art. As Europe’s largest street art festival, you can guarantee that they will be bringing some amazing talent from new artists to the streets of Bristol with colourful and original street art and murals. Starting on Thursday 5th May, the festival will continue for three weeks and will cover several areas of the city.

Bristol Walk Fest

Love walking and want to explore more of Bristol than you have before? May is the official Walk Fest of Bristol, encouraging people to explore the city on foot and is a great activity for both kids and adults, whether you’re new to the area or not.

Choices include heritage tours, nature walks, explorations of street art and statues, wild food forays, walking sports tasters, woodland storytimes as well as plenty of ways to exercise muscles, discover new places or simply enjoy some fresh air with like-minded companions.

Van Gogh Experience

Leading on from last month, the Van Gogh immersive art experience is continuing in Bristol and is the perfect activity for art lovers.

Dive into the life and mind of the artist with 360 displays and a virtual reality experience. Enjoy more than 300 of Van Gogh’s sketches, drawings, and paintings by using floor-to-ceiling digital projections, made possible by state-of-the-art video mapping technology.
